ITC Federal Achieves Authority to Operate (ATO) for DHS ICE Cloud Initiative with Google Cloud Platform
Employing Multi-Cloud Expertise for Optimal Operational Efficiency
Fairfax, VA – October 15, 2024 – ITC Federal (ITC), an established provider of mission-focused information technology solutions and enterprise services to U.S. federal agencies, today announced that it has secured an Authority to Operate (ATO) from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, for its ICE Cloud initiative. This ATO authorizes the deployment of Google Cloud services through the Operations and Solutions Delivery Support Services contract, marking it the first Google Cloud ATO within the ICE framework.

The Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP) will significantly benefit from the ATO granted to ITC Federal to implement Google’s Dialogflow Chatbot technology, a part of Contact Center AI. This integration is designed to enhance communication for non-native speakers, making information more accessible. With this ATO in place, the ICE Cloud program will also incorporate Identity Access Management and analytics through Google Cloud Looker Core. Additionally, various teams will use the Google Maps API in their applications to provide location-specific maps. To ensure compliance and manage data residency requirements, ICE plans to adopt Google Cloud’s Assured Workloads service.
